Crafting a vodka was new for us.

In our homeland, we have great traditions of making aged spirits and other products with great flavour. Making vodka with a neutral taste simply isn't one of them. But after realizing I had made something so pure that I could name it a vodka, it convinced me. There was no craft vodka on our domestic market with a production and sourcing of raw materials so close to home.

But if I was going to launch a vodka, it had to have its very own character. I didn't want to mention how many times we distil it, no expensive packaging or bling bling, no lies. I wanted to avoid the beaten paths and try to explain people how a real vodka should be made and taste.

At pH Vodka, we’ve crafted a spirit that captures the heart and soul of the Belgian High Fens, a region as wild and untamed as it is beautiful. The very colors of our brand tell the story of this rugged landscape, where nature’s palette is as unique as the vodka we produce. The base tones of our design—warm beige and rich browns—are inspired by the timeless heather plants that blanket the High Fens year-round. These hardy shrubs, with their soft yet resilient presence, give the land its unmistakable color, evoking the serene yet powerful beauty of the Fens. Adding a touch of vibrant life to our identity, a delicate purple accent pays homage to the bog rosemary that graces the landscape during the sunny seasons. This rare and striking plant flourishes in the wetlands, and its fleeting beauty is captured in every drop of our vodka. The copper top of our bottle nods to the traditional pot stills used in our distillation process. Just as these iconic stills play a key role in shaping our vodka’s character, the copper hue reflects the craftsmanship and care put into each batch. It’s a reminder of the artistry that goes into creating something truly exceptional. And then there’s the black in our logo—a tribute to the infamous black grouse that roams the vast, open spaces of the High Fens. With its dark plumage and elusive nature, the black grouse embodies the spirit of the land itself—wild, rare, and majestic
